Italian restaurants, sub shops, calzone counters and Italian delis sit next to the pizzerias on this site because most of them bake pizza too, often from the same dough. Full-service Italian restaurants take reservations for dinner, add a tip line for table service (15-20% is customary) and usually run a cheaper lunch menu on weekdays. Sub and sandwich shops are counter-order and quick, with sizes by the inch or in half and whole lengths. Calzones and strombolis are priced like a medium pizza and are large enough to share. Italian delis and bakeries sell by weight and by the piece, and many close mid-afternoon.

Schenectady is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Schenectady is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

My daughter is anaphylactic to nuts. The cookies did not state nuts under the β€˜may contain’ label. We allowed her to eat one. I then peeled back the price label to double check and saw β€˜nuts, almond paste’ in the listed ingredients. This could very easily be a lawsuit.

Customer service has gone way down. I asked for another cup for my latte because she clearly spilled some to put the lid on and she asked me β€œoh is it hot outside?”. It’s the middle of summer, that’s a condescending response. She didn’t even apologize for spilling my drink even though the stain on the cup was right there. My latte didn’t taste like there was any espresso either. This place used to be so great back in the day but now, some of these workers pick and choose which customers to be nice to. The younger people are so much nicer than the older ones. I promise your business won’t die out because I asked for another cup. At least do the bare minimum and apologize when my latte I paid for has stains on the cup. Deff not worth the money this morning sadly.

A week ago, I left the review below after my first visit. At the time, I was genuinely impressed with both the pastries and the customer service. The staff was welcoming, and it made for a great first impression. Unfortunately, my experience during today's visit was quite different. The pastries were still good overall, and the bakery itself remains a cute little spot. The front of the establishment appeared clean and inviting, and it's easy to see why people enjoy coming here. However, the customer service this time fell short of what I experienced on my first visit. One thing I strongly believe is that every customer who walks through your doors should receive the same level of courtesy, patience, and respect. Especially in New York, not everyone will look, dress, speak, or behave like your regular customers, but that should never affect the quality of service they receive. I believe a business should strive to make every guest feel equally welcome. Doing business in NY, the reality is that you never truly know who is walking into your establishment. Someone may have driven several hours or traveled dozens of miles specifically to try your bakery after hearing great things on

Ordered a small cake for a birthday. I found it to be reasonably priced. Always important. Went with a chocolate cake with almond cream and homemade buttercream frosting. Looked great and packaged well. Very delicious, moist and not too heavy. Whole family agreed.
